325 oil filter
Does anyone know the location of the oil filter cannister / housing? Has anyone jacked the car up? Additionally, it appears the design of the lift points does not lend well to jackstands. Comments from DIY'ers?

Itīs right at the front end of the engine (to the right, near the intake manifold) pointing upwards. Itīs an alloy housing with a plastic top that can be unscrewed with a spanner (or the propper BMW tool) to take out the filter inset

Being under-hood will make the job much easier than I anticipated. Getting that thing off the floor and removing the underpans didn't look like a lot of fun to me. Thanks for your response.
