Yesterday, my new baby got rear ended at a stop light My car was fully stop and the car behind me was also fully stop, but I saw her trying to grap something on the passenger side and bang. I was so upset but at least nobody got hurt. Attached are a few pictures. Is not much damage but I will like to get a new bumper from their car insurance. Don't know how they can buffer it around the tiedown area of the rear bumper. Any advise will be appreciated.

That sucks..sorry to hear that. I live in the same area you do and people are just retarded around here. EIther they drive 100 miles an hour down 264 to the beach or they are going 50 in the left lane and eating their supersized mcsandwich. grrr
At least it was just a rolling stop hit, not something massive should be an easy fix (probably about $3000 lol. I really have no idea but i hope it's that much so maybe she will pay attention from now on...

Sorry to hear about your accident. I had my E46 rear-ended but this was a Surburban truck that could not stop on a slippery roadway that dented my trunk and left rear panel where the lens are. Now a days, I pay much more attention to the guy who is traveling behind me.
Luckily for you the impact did not damage the body stucture, so minimal damage. I too would change the entire bumper, I hate to know that my car was hit and repaired.

Sorry to hear that. I hate people that don't pay attention. Believe me i know. Thought i would share some pics of what happened to me a couple of months ago. Complete stop on I-405(due to traffic) here in washington, got rear ended by a 04 GMC Yukon going about 50 mph!!!

OUCH... Had the same happen to my dodge on the I-5 at a complete stop.. A Bimmer 5 from the back at ~55 and it pushed me into a NAVIGATOR on the front... There was no apperant body damage !! But it turend out later the the whole body was dis-alligned... Costed $6K on my brand new car at the time
