So I went to the Mall today and came home to wash my month old e90. As I was washing the wheels I noticed my center BMW logo was popped out and stolen. Fill with rage, I think I vocalized every four letter word.
It must of been the kids hanging at the mall. Funny thing, I used to be one of "those kids", but I never vandalized others property. Kids today!!! Here I am saying this in my late 20s.
Anyone know how much it will cost to get a new one?

Where was this... Tysons? Reston TC?
I hate to say it, but you should be somewhat happy that they didnt key your car or do some other damage to your car. Myself included in the twenty-something in the area, but kids these days do not have respect for other peoples property ....

I bought my 325i on Friday, and on Saturday night we were at some friends house and I parked it adjacent to a park across the street from their house. When I got home later that night I discovered it had been egged. Left a nice little circular scratch next to the rear wheel well. Luckilly I was able to wash the egg off before it did any further damage to the paint, but now I need to touch up the scrath.
I can't believe some people. No respect at all for other property.

Let's hope karma will catch up to them where they will lose the most valuable thing they own.

"kids these days"....exactly!
I find myself cursing at kids all the time now and I'm not very old....I find myself saying the same exact things my mother and other adults used to tell me when I was younger. I never stole anything or vandalized though.
I hope they don't charge you too much for it, let us know though because I am curious to see how much BMW thinks they can get away with.

So I went to the BMW dealership today expecting to lighten my wallet quite a bit. When I walked up to the parts store and I told them the story, they were like that is going to cost. But when he priced it out.....$3 and change!!! My dad had the same thing happen to his Acura and it cost $40. I thought I would have to shell out at least that. Apparently it cost $60 on the 5 series as the guy at the parts store told me. I guess this is one thing that I am glad BMW stayed cheap on.
