Radio Presets on Nav
I have an 325xi on order with nav/idrive. Can someone tell me how many radio presets are available? I currently have 12 AM (6 AMA + 6 AM) and 18 FM (6 FMA + 6 FM1 + 6FM2) on my '02. Are the preset listings "editable"? I've seen some pictures with radio call letters but that's probably due to the RDS. Thanks!

However, the whole radio experience is so different that I don't have a need for presets anymore. The display screen continuously updates the stations with the strongest frequency. I just cruise along, turn the little wheel and pick up clear signals. If I need a specific station I use the manual mode. Setting the presets is a little tricky (especially while driving!)
Honestly I have my I-Pod plugged in continuously - I think I have used the radio once or twice.

The first is called "Manual" where you simply turn the dial to get to the desired station. The second is called "Presets." Under that section, you can personally store 12 radio station frequencies. The third is called "All Stations." In that mode, the car continually searches for the strongest station frequencies and updates the available list. You turn the dial to adjust stations.
Of course, with Voice Activation, you can just say the frequency of the radio station you want, like "One-o-Six-Point-Seven-F-M," so the main reason for presets, i.e. convenience, is not really there.
Finally, the listings are not "editable" - not yet at least. The car just lists stations according to frequency.
