Air Bag/Seat Belt/Shimmy
Anyone else have the following problems?
- Air bag and seat belt light malfunction light comes on and disappears quite frequently.
- Steering wheel vibrates at 60 miles per hour (previous E46 sport pkg owner here)
I expected first year bugs but I am getting a little annoyed with all these minor problems. I think this will be service visit #5 in 3 months.

I think this will be service visit #5 in 3 months. | Not a current 3 owner here yet (ED Oct), but if you have a vibration at a specific highway speed, my first suggestion is to check your wheel weights. See if one has been knocked off. You may just need to get your wheels and tires re-balanced. That should be cheap, especially if you have the ability to take the wheels off the car and to a tire shop separate from the car. When this labor is done in advance, some shops I've dealt with will simply balance for free. Of course, perhaps checking the balance is covered under free maintenance (I have to keep reminding myself of that deal, I'm so used to doing work myself!).
