Yep, that's right! Another pointless opinion poll by yet another anxious Bimmer owner-to-be; agonizing in those final days before his order (already "finalized") must be FINALLY FINALIZED.
Knowing fully well that my own personal tastes might well run contrary to public opinion, even here on this like-minded forum, I'm asking anyway. Why? For catharsis. Stress release. To help firm up my commitment to one exterior color over the other.
So here's the deal:
2006 330i. I'm going with beige/poplar interior. Why? Because I've been sitting in a gray/aluminum interior for 3 1/2 years, black is too hot for our 10-month summer here in the Tampa Bay area, and while Terra is an awesome color I couldn't manage to resolve my internal conflicts with the terra / black / gray headliner combo.
So, classic beige with warm poplar wood it is!
I've narrowed it down to two color choices, never of which I've actually been able to see in person, which makes it even more novel.
They are: Mystic Blue, or Black Sapphire.
Pick one, please, and thanks for your help in these trying times of anguish and uncertainty.

I say Mystic over Beige. First, there's not gonna be many around for a while. Also, it's a striking color combo with alot of personality. Sure, you can't go wrong with a black on sand combo, but I think you'll enjoy looking at something different everyday you walk to your car than seeing the more common black on sand.

Plus, it's not like dark blue is a controversial color. As for the Florida sun, well I think both colors are dark enough that there isn't a difference WRT heating up in the sun. Same for difficulty of cleaning factor.
Plus I think the blue/sand combo will be classy looking, especially with the poplar.
Either way you really can't go wrong though.

I also agree. that's why I'm going with a dark green with sand interior.

Your interior colour choice will look great.
Be aware that Mystic Blue doesn't really have a metallic look to it. It seems flat in comparisson to other metallics. That said, I think it would work better than Black in your climate.
