Is this just my E90?
Just curious if anyone else out there had experienced this. I've been driving around with the air conditioning on most of the time, most often with the climate control set to automatic. It seems like the fan speed however, has a mind of its own from minute to minute, especially slowing down whenever I do for a red light, then cranking back up and down again! The second thing I've noticed is this periodic ticking sound from around the area of the central vents, especially right after I start the car, or if I switch the positioning of the airf flow from feet/chest/windshield. It sounds as if a baffle or something is trying to open but not quite getting there. Doesn't do it all the time either! Is there a ghost in my machine?? | | Reply » Is this just my E90? | Quote: Just curious if anyone else out there had experienced this. Let me check the ticking sound tomorrow. But if the airflow positions change, there should have some kind of electronic motor direct the air flow which creates some sound. And if you use auto, the airflow positions are changed by the climate control to control the temperature.
