Was wondering if there is a source of lubricant requirements for
Bimmers by year model that covers crankcase,manual and auto
transmissions and differential lubricants. Has BMW used ATF in their
manual transmissions. If so, what years? There is so much info
about the different lubes, it is mind blowing. The fact that turbines
use synthetics for lubrication and considering their operating
conditions ie; high rpms/temps, to me it only seems reasonable to
use synthetics in combustions engines?? Gives me a head ache
thinking about this stuff.
