hi guys, new to the forums. i've been debating on both of these.
i like the style of both cars and i want awd. info on the lexus is still unknown so im not sure if it has an AWD system.
if i do end up getting the bmw, im probably going to wait a year. the 325i runs up well into the 37-38k now and im sure its more for the xi model.
what do you guys think?
i wish i did get the current style fo the 3 series but i cant find any xi models around my area and they wont budge in price if they drag it out of the state

The IS250 has AWD. But with only ~180 lb ft of torque, and 3650 lbs, the auto-only AWD version will make the Toyota Prius seem fast in comparison. 0-60 for the IS250 manual rwd, which is 200 lbs lighter, is "high 7s" according to lexus. That would put the awd version w/ torque converter auto in high 8s probably.

its all personal preferance if you are sports car kind of guy then BMW for sure, if you want oppulance, more luxury and reliability and smooth ride go for Lexus oh and cheaper too.
I like BMWs cuz im a sports car kind of guy.

the IS may not be cheaper. the is250 will start at 30k. that's the base model and if you got a 325xi up to 37k you put tons of features on the damn car.
figure an 250 awd will be at least 2k more expensive. probably 3k. that's 33k.
What features did you add to your 325i? xenon, navi? also, don't forget the is250 does not have free maintnence and you can't do ED with a lexus.

does the lexus cost less than a bmw to repair?
i dont plan to keep either car i choose past the 5 years, or atleast until warranty expires.
i know newer bmws have tons of electrical issues. hel, my bro owns an 03 xi and its had tons of issues with it.
i think i kind of want the dependability for sure. thats why i looked at the lexus.
all i want is the premiums package, xenons, auto and heated seats.
