 SG/Interior Color

Just curious.

My wife ordered her new 330Xi with SG and Gray Leather/Burl Walnut trim. She is focusing on luxury look vs sport (though I will be driving it in sport mode

What are most people are getting interior color wise with SG and reasons why. Still may have an opportunity to change within the next two weeks.

Thanks

Greg

A colleague of mine just ordered the same combination as yours. It's 'definitely' a classy look! I saw several of that combination when I picked out mine and seriously considered it. Finally went with the black just because they look so good (when clean ) and I wanted a cooler interior for hot summer days here. But of course it all comes down to preference and it was not an easy decision. I think I would have been happy with several of the combinations.

I went with SG over Black. Black is a very clean and neat color for the interior. It also looks much nicer with age than the lighter colors do. Beige and Gray will show soiling in the carpet and in the contact areas (arm rests, drivers seat...).

Not if you are a super neat freak BMW owner. I have owned several cars with a light gray interior and keeping them clean with normal maintenace with the ZAINO system is the KEY!

I have ordered the exact same combo on my 325xi. Your wife has excellent taste.

I don't like BMW grey interiors at all - I find it boring, conservative and far too blue in colour, and I think the grey plastic looks terrible, both in the colour and the contrast. I'd much rather have any other colour than grey. As I currently have black I might try terra/nat brown/whatever next. However, grey may look good with SG for all I know - haven't seen one in person. There, that was helpful wasn't it?
