My car doesn't have the fold down seats option but I was wondering if it is possible to retrofit the skibag into a car without one? Has anyone done this and if so, how hard is it to do? thanks!

I'm getting ski racks this weekend. And attaching the Thule clamp ons on the BMW base bars. Whose going to put dirty ski's in car - too much hassale. moreover ski racks adds to the sporty image and look cooler!!

Can not be done without replacing the entire rear seat(s) to make it fold down. The ski sack would be the same, you need the seatbacks off of the fold downs for the ski sack, and the seat back needs the frames off of the folders. Not sure on that but that it was it looks like. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partgrp.d...23&hg=52&fg=30
Good luck, would have been a heck of a lot easier/cheaper factory done
