Do you like the look of the 4 ultrasonic sensors on the rear bumper for the Part Distance Control?

It would be nicer if they also have the front PDC............ I know they have front and rear PDC in Euro, not in U.S., why is that???..............

I always thought the distance feedback it gave you was out of whack. When parking, I don't want to know about distances in feet, I want it in inches. I can get the car to within a foot of another car, I want to back up so it am an inch or two away for maximum manouverability.

Quote: Maybe in Canadian "farm country" like your profile says you are from. Try parallel parking in West Hollywood (where parking spaces are like gold) on a Saturday night with 8-10 inches to spare front and back, on a hill, with a stick shift. I'll take the 4 dots over scuff marks and scratches (although someone will eventually tap the bumper anyway when they try to park their buick).

PDC was the only option that I didn't get when I placed my order. To me PDC makes sense if you're driving a bus-sized SUV with limited visibility and you actually might run into the neighbors dog taking a crap behind your car, but in something the size of a 3-Series if I can't get my car within the foot or so the PDC tops out at I don't need to be driving it.
