 engine heat

I've had my 330i now for about two months and have noticed that the engine seems to get very hot. After I get home and pull in the garage the heat just seems to flow out from under the from wells. Is this normal? I've even been opening the hood to let the heat escape quicker.

first of all, I think I saw you today... on Chagrin....there's only a few around here. And second, I am not sure it's any hotter than my last car...

Sorry, it wasn't me. I didn't take her out today but the only other 330i I've seen so far was on Chagrin too!

Wait a minute...you have a black 330i? I saw you about 3 weeks ago heading north on I-271 near the chagrin exit. You think the heat is the same? I had a 97' M3 last and I don't recall it.

Hey,

I have had the same problem with the 750. After i drive it for about 1-2 hours and then park it into my garage. When i get back into the garage about 2 hours later it is sosososososo hottttt. Is that normal too.

Coulda been me... I picked her up about three weeks ago. Haven't seen another 'cept TiAg today...I had an '02 330ci, and... well.. it COULD be a bit warmer, but then again it's hot as heck around here lately.

Runs great, and I have no complaints... I've driven to Colubus twice in the heat of day with no issues... if anything the AC is nuclear compared to the e46. I do see addtional cladding under the engine, so maybe that traps more heat, but I'm making that up.
