Maybe what you want is the 335i that's supposed to come out in a year or two. Twin turbo, 300+hp!

I don't think we'll be seeing anything like the zhp option on the e90 any time soon (if at all). You probably have two options. One, get a used zhp. Two, get an e90 and swap out the swaybars and rims/tires for something stickier. From what everyone says about the e90, upgrading the rubber maybe enough to put it on par with the e46 zhp.

I'd say that the E90 Sport is better out of the box than an E46 ZHP.

Of course you would have to know that I would chime in with my own twisted perspective... I think the E90 is raw and has great potential... more so then the E46... but I definitely think the E46 ZHP is up on the E90 ZSP... it's close... but I think it's better... for sure. As a by product of being more refined and better balanced... the E46 is faster... and can be driven faster more easily.
There will be a future ZHP on the E90... but we don't know for certain when that will be. I believe the next ZHP will be a more significant jump from ZSP to ZHP. I bet BMW puts the E90 ZHP on par with the no longer built E46 M3. Just an educated guess.
