I have placed an order for a 330xi (September production, for delivery sometime in October, I guess...
I've been scanning the post for some time now and wanted to see if we can summarize what changes are expected with the September production vehicles.
From what I've gathered, the changes are:
[1] Availability of AWD
[2] Comfort access
[3] Addition of Barrique red and Sonora colors
[4] mp3-capability of CD players in Navigation-equipped cars (not entirely sure about this one)
Can anyone add to this list (even minor things)?

There will also be a color called DEEP GREEN and hopefully some new software updates

They probably fix some minor gremlins that poped up in the car, but you wont know till someone gets the car and compares it to previous versions

Interesting to note that the SMG transmission will not be appearing in model year 2006. I had driven one once in a 530i, and thought it had some very strange quirks. Perhaps BMW has decided to severely limit its availability - not quite ready for prime time on non-M cars??

can i order a car now with mystic blue and comfort access, or do i need to wait until september?
edit: i finally got a hold of someone competant at the dealer and he said yes
