 Help with options

Looking to place an order for 2006 330i in the next week, coming off a 01 330i and E46 M3 so I'm already familiar with packages, etc.

Options for sure:
6 spd
Jet Black
Black interior
Sport Pack
Heated Seats

So I would 'like' to have Premium pack AND Nav, however my budget will only allow one or the other. I probably dont use NAV too much at home, I'd mostly be getting it for 1) my ED pickup navigation 2) i-drive "feature" (I'm a gadget guy) 3) looks nicer with the full dash. However leather\bluetooth would be nice to have as well. My local dealer didnt have a "ette" to check out, so I need to see for myself the differences.

Anyway, yeah I know its my decision, but just looking for opinions etc on my scenario and if anybody else had to consider this as well......

TIA

I opted to go with the 'ette myself, financial and just the fact i do not like the BMW leather, it wears to quickly. The 'ette is actaully very nice. I went with the iDrive and the BMW assist (for the bluetooth) I figure that since I will be on a different continent and do not speak the languages well it would be in my best interest to have the nav, if I lost a day by being lost I would be real upset... I also like the fact that many ofthe cars options are easily accessed through the iDrive system. Either way it is a great car and good luck!

The Nav is going to be almost priceless for you in Europe....it works amazingly well. I-drive w/nav definately trumps leather.

My friend at work has a 525 with I Drive and let me borrow it for a few hours. After just those few hours you could not give me the I Drive for free. Clicking and rotating the dial is just plain tedious and stupid. If you don't want the premium package, save your money and invest it. BTW, I have ordered a 325xi with premium and no IDrive. Good luck on your decision.

If you actually OWN the car and take the time to learn it it's very easy....my E90 I-Drive seems better than my E60's was. Just borrowing a car with I-Drive is a completely different enchilada.

You also get voice recognition if you can't get your hand close to that iDrive knob...
