I'm about to buy a 2003 BMW from a used car dealer, but not BMW. The car carries the 6y/100K warranty which is still valid for a few more years and a bunch of miles.
But I'm wondering, does this warranty differ from the 100k Certified Pre-Owned warranty I see directly from BMW? Thanks for any input you can offer.

What is the company that wrote the 6y/100k warranty? Kind of hard to compare it to the BMW CPO warranty when we don't know to what we are comparing.

to answer your question, yes it IS different. this is NOT a CPO car. Only BMW Centers/Dealers can offer a true CPO BMW. goodluck

All 2002 models and some (if not all) 2003 models did in fact get 6yr/100k mile warranty. But that was announced some time in 2004 or 2005. I am not sure how you would check for this since it is not a BMW dealer.
