I have been searching high and low for the most accurate pictures of Popular trim. I haven't made it to the dealer yet to see it in person. People post pictures but they always look different. I don't know if it;s a flash or the lighting or what. Aanyway, can somone tell me which one of these two pictures more accurately describes the trim.

the one on the left looks like the burl walnut trim and the one on the right looks like the lighter popular trim.

Those are both poplar (the burl is much darker) but the one on the right looks much closer to them actual hue of the poplar dash on the 330i I tested. I kinda wish it was warmer, like the one on the left, but the one on the right looks fairly accurate.

Also, the very 'busy' grain is characteristic of poplar. I think each of these could be accurate representations of poplar, depending on the lighting.
