BMW Safe Lease
Hey guys , I am going to pick up my baby tommorow , this would be my first Lease although not the first BMW .
So any suggestion what extra Safe Lease options to buy to protect from Dinges , excessive wear and tear / tyres etc towards the end of the lease ....

moiz | Have you thought that if you are going to be that concerned with dinges exceeding the minimum, excessive wear and tear and tires that you will need some supplemental protection coverage maybe, just maybe a lease is not for you?

I skip all those things myself. Have had a total of one ding in 17 years of car ownership. Had I spent $500 per car on "extra" insurance I'd be out quite a sum of money by now, certainly way more than it would have cost to fix that one ding, had I bothered. So if I get a ding on this car, I'll pay to have it fixed and be glad I kept all that other money in my pocket.
Consumer insurance for small losses is rarely a good deal. The fear of a loss far exceeds its likelihood, and the cost preys on that fear.

I asked a friend of mine how harsh the inspection was when she returned her car and she said they basically eye-balled it and signed off. YMMV.

Hey guys ,
I just was not sure how picky they are at the end of the lease agreements , I was shown a little sticker with different size holes !! in it , and apparently they go and check each ding ....so chances of getting some on a 2 years lease are alot , and it is $300 for each ding more than an Inch , and so on ..........
safe lease the minimum was around 600 bucks extra and covered dinges and excessive wear and tear of upto $5000 dollars ........
