Hello All I have a concern....I have put about 2,200 miles on my e90 and the miles on the service monitor have not gone down from 15,000. Is this normal, is this happening to any one else???  I am taking my car in Tuesday for a sunroof problem, I will also get the service monitor checked out and report back. Thnx....for any input! |

depending on your use, the car will stretch the interval. I would suppose that if you were being good and breaking in, you might have gentled the car a bit for the first couple miles...

I think this is part of the software bug.... I remember somewhere reading a post that the new software addressed issues with the onboard computer and diagnostics.
Just from my experience with the system in my MINI, it would adjust the numbers based on driving style etc., It adjusted it over a period of time and was not instantaneous, my first change was at 12k my second still has not occurred yet and i am at 25k the thing still says I have 2k to go (not sure how i feel about this method yet????). So I who knows I bet they do not even know, I feek like it is a crap shoot with that thing anyways, well at least they can't say you did not follow the recommended maintenance.... lol

It is not a countdown to the next service, it simply displays the mileage that your E90 should have its next service completed at. The mileage can vary with driving habits.
