Using my key fob, I can open all windows (including sunroof) by holding the unlock button. However, the only way to close windows is by going into the car and manually pressing all buttons. Is there any way to use the fob? I would have thought pressing the lock button or holding it would have done the trick. Or will this be one of those Sept/Oct updates?

1. Move to Europe if you want that feature.

You can also roll up/down the windows and sunroof by turning the key in the drivers side door key hole. (At least this works on an e46)

In the states the legal liability for bmw is too high of a risk to allow window roll up through remote key. You can blame it on your fellow Americans for filing too many tort lawsuits.

On my dads SL you can close the top with the remote....
