I paired a Motorola V330 to my 325 '06. All seam to work fine. Phonelist was transferred, I can receive and initiate calls. However, when I receive a call and wish to have the conversation not to be heard on the car's speakerphone I tried to flip open my V330 in the hope that the audio would be heard only on the cell phone and not on the car's speakerphone. It did not work. It seams like the cell phone has no audio and the only audio comes through the speakerphone. Has anyone tried to do what I have described and was able to? I'd appreciate any help on this.
Thanks

Seems I ecall reading somewhere (and your phone manual may have it) that you hit the send button on your phone and it should transfer the call to your phone?

I have a V3, the two pair seamlessly and whenever they are paired the car overrides the phone completely. It's also been my experience, if the key is inserted and I'm standing outside of the car talking on the phone, the car will hijack the call. The send button on the V3 doesn't work for me. I've even selected the the handset option on the phone menu, during a call, it will switch back to the phone momentarily, then the car's BT will just reconnect and take the call back. So far the only thing that works for me is just reaching down and switching the BT off on the car, the audio then returns to the phone.

This is an old trick I used with all previous bluetooth phones and bluetooth headsets - when my headset started beeping due to low-battery, I plug in a normal headset, the call xfers over to the wired headset automatically. (if memory serves correctly, I've tried it on a Sony Ericsson and a Motorola)
I've given up using bluetooth headset these days due to security reasons... but hey, when I'm driving around in a bimmer, someone will need a huge antenna and follow me close to listen in ^_^ (I'm paranoid at times)

I have the V330 as well. I am very frustrated because sometimes the phone is connected when I get in the car and sometimes it either takes a long time or won't connect at all. What procedure do you use to get the phone to connect to the car?

Here are some thoughts about your possible problem (I am new at this also!)
After pairing the phone, make sure that the your v330 is set up to have the Bluetooth Link (under connection in the menu) ON all of the time. In my case it has always connected when I get in the car.
I have noticed that if I add/delete items in the phonebook the next time I get in the car it will take a little longer for the system to become ready for use. I assume that the car somehow knows that it has to update the phonebook.
