HELP!!! Phone buttons W/Sprt Pkg OR Assist w/BT?
If the car was ordered with the sport package and NAV (but no assist w/BT package) it will still come with the phone buttons on the steering wheel. What are those buttons gonna be used for? If this has been answered somewhere in the forums I apologies, I did a search and i couldn’t find an answer! I have until Monday to make changes to my order (add assist w/BT) and would really appreciate your inputs. All I want to know is if I can still pickup/end calls using the buttons on the steering wheel if the Assist package is not available!
Best regards, LiverpoolFC YNWA

Best regards, LiverpoolFC YNWA | If you go to www.bmwusa.com, and check the E90 standard features you will see that the phone buttons in the steering wheel -and the phone prewiring- are standard eqipment, regardless if you order Assist or not. To use those buttons for a phone you will be required to have an OEM Bluetooth solution, be the factory Assist/Bluetooth or the separate, dealer installed OEM Bluetooth accessory, though.
AFAIK BMW does not offer any wired phone solutions for the E90.
