Itinerary help
We are planning to pick up our new 325i in September. We have planned two different itineraries and would like some feed back on what you would recommend. Munich to Salzburg Austria, to Prague Czech Repulic, to Wurzburg and follow the romantic road and to Zurich Switzerland for drop off. The second Munich to Salzburg Austria to Innsbruch to Germany and follow the romantic road and continue to Luxembourg and than to Strasbourg France and to Zurich Switzerland for drop off.  | | Reply » Itinerary help |

HappyFrank, when in Sept? I'll be there for an ED pickup in late Sept. As mentioned, the ED forum has some great info, including many threads on trip planning. I had been thinking of doing the Munich -> Salzburg -> Hallstatt -> Innsbruck -> Reutte then back to Munich route, but now I am thinking to cruise from Hallstatt, then head West through the Austrian Alps, enjoying the scenery, but making my way to Strasbourg or Mulhouse or maybe other parts of NE France for a little winery and great food experience, then back through Reutte and return to Munich. I've not heard a lot especially compelling about Innsbruck, but still exploring all options. I even toyed with the idea of going to Venice, but with limited time, I would have to skip France and some of Bavaria that I really want to see. All of this area though is beautiful as I hear, so there is probably not a 'wrong' choice, just different and depends on your interests as to what you will find most appealing.
