The U.S. sport steering wheel trim (the pastic part around the airbag hub) is black plastic. In the European Accessories Configurator, there is an option of a wood trim piece here. Anyone seen this? Also, on the 1er (has the same sport steering wheel I believe) there is a trim piece which is called "pearlescent chrome." Is this a match for the door handle finish (galvanic process- like the rutheium on the 6er). Anyone seen this? I am doing a ED next week, and would be able to visit a BMW parts dept. Do you think these are stock parts or do they need to be ordered ahead of time? How do you think these Euro trim pieces would look? Thanks!
