Yeah look at any 4 yr old car....the leather looks like crap.............
I was on the fence when I ordered my leatherette but love it. My car is 4 yrs old with 72K miles and the seats look as good as they did on the day I got the car. I get tons of compliments on the seats. The leatherette has more of a dull, textured look, that perfectly matches up with the rest of the interior trimings....love it!

Definitely BMW is getting its leather way cheaper now in South Africa... what will be answered later is if this cheaper would also mean low quality.

well, i am definitely not shedding a tear over this one. I think the leather in at least the 3 series (mine is an 01') stinks. It wears fast, and is kind of stiff and hard. So, this may be a blessing.

whatever... same thing for Jaguar.. no more Conolly leather in the X-types... why ? cause Conolly went into bankrupcy... Anyway.. a cow is a cow !
