Mirror fold out when unlocking not working

I thought the side mirrors (if folded in) are supposed to unfold when you unlock the car using the key fob?

Or does this only happen if you fold them in using the key (manually turning to the left to close/fold everything).

Thanks

i've never heard about/ been able to fold out the mirrors with the key fob. could in tbe coming in the september software update? have you been able to do it in the past?

they unfold when you start driving... nothing about unlocking the car undoes the folded mirrors...

I think...

This would make sense... if you hit the lock from a distance and don't realize some schmuck is too close to you you may unfold your mirror into them....

They unfold automatically when driven faster than 25mph.

If you lock your car by placing the actual key in the driver's door and turning so that the windows and sunroof close and the mirrors fold in, unlocking the car with the remote will fold out the mirrors.

If you fold in your mirrors from the inside of the car, i.e. by pressing the button located on the driver's door, then the mirrors will fold open after you begin driving.

That's what I figured.
