Total 3 Series sales declined 3.0% when compared to last July. Sales of the new E90 3 Series continued to do well as the new E90s comprised 72.6% of this month’s total sales. In spite of the success of the new 3 Series model YTD sales for the first 7 months of 2005 were down 9.8% when compared to the same period of last year.

For comparison, Mercedes Benz sold only 5,336 C Class units this month, down 6.4% from the 5,698 units sold last July. YTD sales of the C Class were down 19.7% for the first 7 months of 2005.
