How long does it take from when the ship docks at the port to the day you pick up your car at the dealer, on average?
My dealer (in NJ) told me my ship was scheduled to arrive at the port today, 7/27, so when can I expect to be able to pick up my car? It's marked as a sold car so it's already top priority.

I'm confused. In this thread you mention your car just got to port. In the other you mention it is at your dealer? Where is it?
Anyway, If it's at the port, it will be at the VPC and spend a few days there before it is released to a carrier. After that it depends how far your dealer is.

My car took about a week from the time the boat docked (Pt Hueneme, southern CA) to get to the dealer (Berkeley, northern CA).

It took about 6 days to get to the dealer (from SoCal to NorCal) and then a day or so for them to prep it before I could take delivery.

It took my E90 330i 11 days to reach the dealership: docked June 19th..delivered June 30th.
