I just got my 2006 330i Blk Sphr/ Blk leather/ Poplar natural wood / Premium Pkg/ Sport Pkg/ PDC / iDrive/ Satellite Radio/ Steptronic and I have noticed that the beam pattern on the xenon headlights is different than all the other past xenon bmw's i have had and also my current 6 series. It appears to be more of the euro style pattern.
My other cars and ever stock xenon bmw i have seen has the lights tilt a little up and right then level off flat to the right but the new e90 don't level off on the beam pattern ( i am not referring to the auto-leveling vertical feature)
I will try to illustrate below. I really don't like it on my new car and wondered if it was a mishap or if other e90 xenon owners could confirm this is what theirs look like?
Thanks.
All my other Xenons and current 6 series: (ignore dots - had to put in for lines to show correctly)

My new e90:

Has anybody else noticed this or is it just my vehicle?

I also noticed my Xenons are different from my old E46 compact. They don't make the "one side longer" and I also don't see the cut off as clearly! BMW says it's because they are using new Xenon technology, which is brighter, dazzles less (you know when you see a xenon car flickering?) and they are better.
I think the old ones were D2S xenons, and the E90 has the newer improved D1S xenons. Brighter and better...

Hmm I don't know if I buy that. Mine seems to flicker the same and my 2005 6 series has the regular beam pattern but oh well.
