Has anyone else noticed that in the owners manual for the 330i with iDrive under locking it shows that you can select an visual blink and acousitc confirmation for locking and unlocking the doors but when I go to that menu in iDrive, the visual selections are there but i have no choice to have it beep when i lock and unlock and I would like that? Does anybody else with iDrive have access to that on the menu?

I have whatever is installed from the factory. My 6 series does have that option through iDrive but the 3 series doesn't so im trying to figure out if it's in the manual on accident or somehow through software or something my 3 series is missing that option.

I have 330i/ Premium/ Sport/ Steptronic/ iDrive/ PDC/ Sat Radio | You must have the accessory alarm installed in order to have acoustic confirmation. The alarm is not standard on USA 3-series it is an aftersales accessory. Your 6-series has the alarm as standard equipment.
