Various questions about buying the E90 and maintaining the E90
I am about to buy the 325i and just have a few questions. I udnerstand this might have been discussed already but:
1) is there a more confirmed / accurate date when the 325xi will ARRIVE at US dealerships? 2) if I want to change to snow tires during winter for the 325i, does that include changing the whole WHEEL due to the special run-flat tires? How much approximate would it cost me to change to snow tires? 3) there have been quite a few posts about a constant broken "noise" on the e90 driver side / seat belt, I am just curious if EVERYONE car so far has experienced this problem or does it seem to be a specific assembly line? 4) most people seem to post a lot of "I am getting my e90 delivered tomorrow!" Do these orders tend to be specific customizations that need to be shipped over from other parts of country? What I mean is, is it "less good" to get a new 2006 325i that is currently available and sitting at the dealership? 5) will the later/september production batches be more "perfected" in anyway? So is it wiser to buy later? 6) I plan to live in an apartment that has OUTDOOR off-street parking, and it will snow like crazy during the winter. Without a garage, how much damage would the cold weather / snow do to the new 325i if any?

Swaping tires without wheels cost me $32 CAN and $20 CAN with wheels from a specialize tire store. 3) Mine has no problem so far. (touch wood) 4) Yes. No. Even though you want to get it on stock, the dealer still needs to prepare it for you. eg pick up tomorrow... 5) There will be software upgrade. Will it be more perfected? I don't know. Will it introduce other bugs? Whoese know? 6) Same as other new car.
