Has anyone else scraped their front end yet? I have a very minor scrape caused by the curb in a parking stall. Needless to say, I was sick the whole night. Now that I am more aware curbs in parking stalls, I noticed that the front end of the E90 is so low that it will pretty much scrape any curb more than a few inches high. This has never been an issue on my E46. Does anyone have any tips on applying BMW Titanium Silver touch up paint/clearcoat to a chipped bumper?

My 330i is about 3 months old and I scraped the bottom of the front bumper while I went little too fast on a dip taking a right turn. THose kind of things are bound to happen and I have learnt not to get obsessed with it. You could touch it up, that's what I do. You have to draw the line somewhere. I use mine as a commuter car and don't think that I could continue keeping it in new condition, it is just not practicle.

I've learned not to park too far into a parking space. Scratches are on the underside of the front lip and aren't that noticeable unless I really look for them.

Also - be careful when making a u-turn or 3-point-turnabout where there are high curbs... I almost nicked the front end at my parents' house because I didn't realize the curb was so damn high...

I always try to never chance it, just don't park right up the curb. These cars are short enough that you can be pretty far from a curb and not stick out at all.

Don't worry too much about it...it's a right ot passage
I did the same thing when I first bought my E46 within a few days of taking it home. Good thing most people can't see the bottom of the front facia.
