I bought my 06 330i steptronic without testing the 325i. Now I wonder if the power difference is that significant to justify the price. Of course 330i has Logic7, adaptive xenon headlights and bigger wheels. Did i forget anything?
Anyway, anybody tested both cars and felt the difference? NOt that I'm regretting or anything. Just want some reassurance.

I have a 325, but drove the 330 as a loaner from my dealer while they were getting my windows tinted. There was some difference, but I'm not sure it was enough to justify the price, even with the additional options.

Thanks. | 255hp is needed atleast to avoid asking this question over and over as long as you own the 215hp 325i. If you get 330i your mind is free atleast until the 320hp IS350 comes out. It's a never ending cycle isn't it?

Not only that, but I think we have all seen this conversation with all of our models. I know this is not a direct comparison at this point, but for me the difference between the e46 2.5 and 3.0 was definitely noticeable and worth the extra bones. Enjoy your wheels, don't look back. I certainly haven't.

I drove the 325 first and found the engine power competent but unremarkable. A couple of weeks later, I drove the 330 and knew immediately it was the only E90 I'd buy  . So I did.  BTW both cars were MT.

I had never considered the 325i (or the X3 2.5i) previously because of the lack of power of the 184 hp 2.5 ltr engine. When I tested the E90 325i, my main question was "is the power sufficient?", and my conclusion was yes, which put me over the hump to make a purchase. I have not driven the 330i w/ 255 hp, simply because I don't want to know what I'm missing. When shopping, never drive a car or ride a bicycle you can't afford, or you won't be happy with what you settle for!
I will be happy with 215 hp and good gas mileage for the next six or seven years.
