The new 3.0 Liter patrol engine with direct injection, which is also going on sale on the 1 Series 130i, is going to deliver 265hp (DIN). The turbocharged 3.0 Liter is rumored to have around 330hp.

Oh wait...265 DIN=about 255 SAE? Does the N52 have direct injetion?

Oh wait...265 DIN=about 255 SAE? Does the N52 have direct injetion? | The addition of direct injection to the normally aspirated 3.0 liter, according to the various leaks & rumors, is supposedly only going to increase fuel efficiency. Hp increase will be very nominal, if any.
