 AutoEnginuity offers BMW enhanced interface

I've got a serial AutoEnginuity ODB2 code reader. It works well, but it could only read the information that the BMW's DME decided it wanted to pass down to ODB2 (BMW only passes enough information down to be compliant).

AutoEnginuity now offers an enhanced BMW interface that looks like it plugs into the diagnostic port under the hood.

I might just have to upgrade. Sounds like it'll definitely pay for itself in diagnostic time - for example, if your DSC light is on, the problem could be the DSC controller, the steering angle sensor, or any of the 4 wheel sensors. This extension will tell you exactly which one it is.

Looks like it also gives you the power to run many tests...and AutoEnginuity just told me that they're working on adding car/key memory changing into the software!

Here's the sensors and active tests it can perform:

It's $249 + $229 for the BMW extension if you don't already own an AutoEnginuity reader.

Just an FYI .
