So, i visited a local BMW dealership with my dad today (he's was looking at an X5 and a Porsche Cayenne S next door) but I talked to the CA about when he thought production of the new coupe would begin. He said that BMW would begin producing the coupe in January of next year for a showroom arrival of March or April. Does anyone believe this or think it might be true? I mention that I had read in many places that the coupe would not arrive in the showroom until September or so of next year, but he replied that that was the original plan and that it had changed....

Last weekend at BMW of Austin I was told Sept 06.

Robsa is correct: Sept '06, but probably earlier for Europe.
