i have a e90 330i premium package, idrive, sport package if i don't lock the car with the key fob by pressing the bmw symbol the car won't lock on its own. Is that normal its my first bimmer?

Comfort Access is not available in the US until September so I would be surprised if your car locked by itself...

In order to lock a car with Comfert Access you have a heat sensor button on the outside handle of your driver door, when you exit the car you put your finger over the car to lock the doors.... but if you have a 3 series you most likly do not have Comfert Access because it wont be out untill September....

BTW My E90 will be delivered next week with CA.
CA is only delayed till September vor NA.
In Europe its available allready
