  My new 325i is here, navigation not working

 My new 325i is here, navigation not working

Saw my new car for the first time at dealership.. really believe that it is possible to experience love at first sight...

Car was experiencing navigation problems where it does not recognize the DVD navigation disc for some reason. Thought it was just popping in the wrong DVD. Turned out they have to replace a part and re-initialise the software, plus ABS light came on as well while they were checking this problem out. What a downer...

The saving grace is my salesguy Shelly at BobSmith BMW really took care of me, threw in free accessories for my trouble and gave me a free loaner to drive (2005 325i, 5K miles!) while they take care of the problem for the next couple of days. At least I have A Nice car to drive home after plunking down my big moolah!
Will post pics once my car is returned to me.. yay.

My radio with nav cuts in and out and goes blank. I think they are replacing mine as well.

Do you know if their computer pulls any error codes for this problem?

They said the I-Drive now does this which make finding a problem much easier.

That sucks. At least your dealer seems to be taking good care of you

He gave me the accessories book and ask me to pick any item(s) I want up to $150
