Grill Badge USA
Just traded my 2003 330Ci for a new 330i and removed the USA grill badge(bought from shgraphics.com) from old and went to put it on new. The grill on the 2003 raised when the hood raised and was simple to attach the badge. (To mount the badge requires bolting two threaded screews to a bracket)On the 2006 the grill does not and I can find no easy way to access the grill for the simple instalation. Anyone know how to pop out the grill or obtain easy access to it?Also have an X3, but the grill is also attached to body without access.

The whole kidney is now Chrome and shinny now. havent tried on new 330 but X3 took me couple hours to take out the kidney grill.

You have to pull the front top painted portion of the bumper cover that surounds the grills first (pull out away from radiator area (it won't pull all the way it will still be attached at the bottom portion) )& then you can see the tabs that go through that portion. Then use a small flat head screwdriver to press out the clips to remove the grills. Start at the top & work to the ends-pulling gently as you go-& then you can pull the grill straight out.

Thanks, now I can do both the X3 and 330i.
