 Power rear sunshade

Has anyone optioned their new E90 with the power rear sunshade? Can you comment on it's effectiveness? Is it worth the $$$? Thanks!

I ordered it and I love it. I had a manual rear sunshade in my Passat and it was great. Keeps down the heat, keeps obnoxious truck headlights toned down and adds some privacy. On the E90, you also get the manual side shades. I prefer this over tinting because I can open them on dark cloudy days and I don't have to worry about scratches to the tint film. I also don't want some window tint guys taking my doors and rear deck apart, they always manage to have extra parts(clips, screws, etc) left over- been there, done that.

I think it depends on where you live. Sun is not very bright here in Canada. Winter very long too. So, it is nothing more than a show off for me.

I got it on my 330i - living in Arizona, some kind of sun protection is absolutely necessary, and I chose the oem sunshades over a tint job. I still have 2 weeks left on my ED trip, and the sunshades are up all the time, well worth the money imo.
