I can't believe the 325i for $31,000 does not have chrome exhaust tip! What is BMW doing? Trying to save a couple of bucks?? It's the details that make or break the car's appearance...
TRUE. BMW is a GREAT handling car and I currently own a M3, but c'mon the chrome exhaust tip probably cost 5 bucks for BMW. I'm planning on getting a 325xi for winter driving, but I can't stand the fact that it doesn't have a chrome exhaust tip (I'm assuming the 325xi will not have it since the i doesn't)!
I might have to consider the TL or Audi A4 for my 2nd car. My current M3 is just too dangerous to drive in the winter even with winter tires (Chicago).
Notice how the Touring 325xi has chrome exhaust tip and chrome grills???
PLEASE email BMW to complain about the NO CHROME EXHAUST TIP on the 325i or SUGGEST them to put it on the 325xi that will be coming out this fall.......

well.. they want to distinguish between 325 and 330, its all marketing...
But since they are really cheap why not buy them with the car, and the dealership will install them before you get your car in most cases...

If you're so much of a loser that you can't handle the thought of buying a car without chrome exhaust tips, then PRETTY PLEASE go buy something else.

I actually prefer it that way!
The less parts there are on my car to fall off, rust, rattle, etc. the better off I am. I really like the purposeful look of the matte-finish stainless pipes. I'd rather have this than some "bling" (I really hate that word but it fits) dangling off the back of my car.

Just got a reply back from BMWUSA.com in regardes to the exhaust tip.
They said the dealer will install it at NO extra cost. All you have to do is request it. NOW that's BMW QUALITY service....
DON'T let your dealer charge you for it!
Word of advice. Always demand BETTER!! Never settle.
Hope this helps...
