M3/e90?
What do you guys think... Planning on getting the E90 xi when it comes out because it snows in Chicago and with a 4 door sedan, it's a lot more hassle free when other people are riding with you... No need to fold down seats, having people crawl in the back, etc... Should I trade in my 2003 M3 for the E90 or just keep the M3 and forget about the E90? 2 cars is just excessive for me... Don't really need 2 cars... I'm wondering if I'll regret trading in the M3 for the E90.... | | Reply » M3/e90? | That's rather an odd pairing.
Coming down from the rocket M3 to a 'mere' 330 with additional AWD weight would probably be an extrememly difficult change. I suspect that in keeping both vehicles, every time you got into the xi you would be disappointed.
I would hang onto the M3 if it is meeting your needs.

I actually wanted an e46 M3, but had to "settle for" the e90. you should keep what you have.

I'm wondering if I'll regret trading in the M3 for the E90.... | I don't think you're crazy at all. I'm actually considering the same thing. My M3 is a convertible, though, and after a couple years, the fun-factor has worn off, while the extra 400 lbs. remains. Plus, the ride quality is killing me, so... Yea, an E90 for me.

If you have to drive with more than one other person regularly, getting an E90 330i would be an "upgrade" in terms of comfort and convenience. 4 doors are very nice when you have 3 or 4 adults in the car.
