I picked up my 330 last week in Germany and put about 650 miles on it in 4 days. One thing I noticed about the new key is how it works with I-drive. First you put the key in the slot....right away I-drive boots up. You don't have to start the car first. Now I know in my 545 I could put the key in the ignition and turn it to bring up the I-drive without starting the car....but I never did that as it seemed awkward to turn the key halfway.....I actually started the car and waited 10 seconds for the I-drive to wake up.
I know it's not a major big deal but I like the fact that I can get in the car and set the nav. system and anything else I might want to do before I turn on the engine. Just saves a little gas and time.
Do I make sense?

also, you can get in, insert the key fob, hit the start stop button WITHOUT your foot on the brake and it will start your air conditioner and allow you to open the sunroof...

Wow...thanks. I've been wondering how to operate the sunroof w/o starting the car.

I thought it was crummy that they don't allow the sunroof to be operated without the key fob inserted. It should operate exactly like the windows, for when you're closing them when you leave the car. I hope there is a software fix for this eventually.
