I was wondering if i didnt get the S/P on the e90 and i wanted to upgrade with oem parts what do i have to do. also with the suspension
kit does it upgrade the shocks or only the springs, because when i called bmw they dont know or are to lazy to find out. also someone told me that the S/P suspension only changes the springs not the shocks of the car, can somebody please help. thanks

I would wait for the Dinan suspension package to come out. It replaces the shocks/struts and springs. It also does not void you factory warranty. I spoke with a Dinan rep who said because the E90 is such a hot item, they are trying to expedite its production...they think with in a year it will be available. Just a guess, but the Dinan package is probably better and less expensive that trying to do an OEM switch. The current Dinan stage 1 package for the E46 is $1346.00 + labor and the Stage 2 is $1934.00 + labor, which adds front and rear anti-roll bars.

I am not sure if the zsp has different struts/shocks than the non-zsp. Its a good question. BMW's says "Sport suspension calibration", but doesn't give specifics. If anyone knows please post.

BMW does a good job of matching springs and dampers, so who cares what parts are on the car. Drive it and see if you like it before ordering one, or spending money on so-called upgrades.
