What Canadians are paying for E90?

I wonder if there are many Canadians on this forum who bougt their E90s already. Please post what you paid for your cars. I myself offered $1450 CAD below MSRP ($39900) for a basic 325 a the dealer did not accept it. He said the most he can give is $300 off or $1000 on a demo with 400 miles on it. Am I unreasonable or my dealer is too greedy?

Dealer's a bit greedy... I got 1400$ off a car that was not a demo, but ordered will all the options I wanted (BMW Laval). I'll get it somewhere around next week!

I paid full list on a 3301 but received $2,000.00 more on my trade in then was offered at another dealer.
Went for that insteat of trying to sell my car, 1999 328i Cab, private.
I am also going to buy the Extended Warrenty when the car is delivered. (too much electronics to go wrong) as I am planning on keeping it for approx 7 Years

Dealer told me to wait until the end of the bumber-to-bumper warranty for that, because their extended warranty starts the moment you buy it (That's kind of stupid), so you're better off waiting for the base warranty to be close to over before doing that move... Heard anything similar?

What do you think is the reasonable price for a demo? Consider this, a demo with 400 miles must have had 20-30 testers trying to kick the """" out of the car. So $1000 just does not cut it there for me. This should be more like $2000+ off MSRP. It seems that people in US get more discounts plus they are paying less to begin with. Base 325 in Canada is $39900 CAD, in US it is $30300 USD, which today converts into $37572 CAD. How come are we paying $2000 more to begin with? Are there any extra taxes compared to US?

Yes, GST + Provincial sales tax. In the province of Québec that translates to roughly 15%, but there is no luxury tax.
