just wondering what you think about the pros/cons of each model. which do you like better overall?

I'll let you know in 2 weeks. I currently have a 2001 e46 330i with sport and manual transission. My 2006 e90 330i is due in South Carolina this week. It also has a manual transmission and sport package.

My notes;
- The additional room is well appreciated and the E90 is more silent.
- My E46 feels a bit nimbler.
- The active steering worths it.
- I prefer the classic designs of BMW over the new ones. BMW should have made more effort to make the E90 look nicer.
- Lemon and Terra leather interiors and fantastic.
To sum it up. Given a choice, I would take an E90 with a few regrets/reserves.

The E90 is the better performing car and contains more technology. Either choice is good.

I had a 99 323 sport that I bought new, and drove it 162K over the last six years. I loved that car, but my new 330, titanium silver, Sport, Premium, heated seats, and 6sp is a better vehicle in every way!

I don't see the problem with the new design. I had moved away from BMW as a consideration for my vehicle until I saw one in the parking lot at the grocery store, and my first impression in person was WOW. One thing led to another and...........mine will arrive mid August.
Terra leather - totally agree - Fantastic color, should be very popular, though you probably won't see it on the dealer's lot much.
