Double bass in an E90 sedan?

So do I wait for a wagon "sometime in the fall" (Canada), or do I get a sedan. The seats fold down now, thank goodness, so this is possible.

Please save me the hassle of driving my Double Bass the 65 kilometres to the dealership in my old Jimmy just to see if the Big Girl will fit.

Who own a double bass and has measured this already???

(I'm betting no one!)

What's a double bass? I thought you were into fishing or something...

That's funny. I guess there are no jazz bars in San Francisco. I'm as land-locked as you can get where I live!

I'm imagining some kind of fish with two heads or something.

Got it. There are quite a few jazz places, here, actually. I've just never been to any...

I'm guessing you would have to lower not only the rear seats but also move the front passenger seat as far front as you could, I think you'd need to bring your case to the dealership and see if it fits or take measurements (Bringing the case reduces the risk of error, it fits or it doesn't).
