About to order a 325 w/ sp and idrive. Sales rep told me that blue tooth is now standard. Anyone else hearing the same?

You NEED BMW Assist to get Bluetooth. If you don't have BMW Assist (stand alone or part of Premium Package), it is impossible to get Bluetooth on an E90.

That is what I thought..... Sales rep must be confused. I don't believe BMW is making the BMW Assist standard.

This is my understanding too. Keep in mind that a number of Bluetooth capable phones, such as Blackberry, don't currently support BMW's Bluetooth. I think I saw something somewhere that the Treo is being updated to support it. Suggest you do a thread search before opting for this.

Hard to understand why there would be confusion on this issue. This information is available on the BMWUSA website when you configure your car and it should be available on the ordering guide that your salesperson has or should have access.

I would really wonder if I would want to continue doing business with somebody that is not familar with the product that they are selling. It is not like BMW has tons of options.

WRONG!!!

I use my BB7520 daily in my e90 325. It works just fine. No phone book transfer but everything else works great. Both BMW AND BB will tell you otherwise but I am here to tell you that it does indeed work.
