Is it wrong?

Assume for a minute that you sell BMWs. And a client buys a car from you, say, an M6 Convertible. Let's just say it's Interlagos Blue, for the sake of argument. Now further assume that the client lives in Calabasas, while you work in Irvine. Also take it for granted that the client wants you to drive his new car to him.

The question is: Is it ok to drive said vehicle through West Hollywood, down Santa Monica Boulevard, top down, with Madonna's Confessions on a Dance Floor turned up to indecent levels?

Assume that a down payment has been offered and accepted, but purchase documents have yet to be signed.

WELL IT WOULD depend how $$$$$ many dollors you are making or going to blow if you are just the driver. if you got $1000 made yourself on 1 car you deserve to lose the deal if something happens. also if they gave the guy a hugh discound and you were making $200 on 100k car then make your self happy and play radio..i been their done that . but i was a pro top 25 in 5 state region toyota. i did not jerk around till papers were signed and after never abused my customers cars while helping them out for service...rent a car and do that. how would you feel if you paid 100k and the guy drove it like a nut and blasted the radio before you got the car...bet you would be pissed.

He's pulling your leg. There's no way that the M6 vert is going to be abused. Besides, the OP knows the buyer.

I definitely would want the car returned if Madonna had ever been played through its speakers. The only place for Madonna is in the back seat of an E39 M5 with a coffee-stained crotch.

As long as you don't blow out the speakers. Oh how silly of me...it's a BMW; they must have a limiter.
